This handwoven pure cotton khadi jamdani saree pairs a soft sand-cream body with a wide parrot-green open border. Magenta-pink peacock nakshi motifs are woven into the pallu, with smaller butis scattered across the body. The effect is regal without being heavy. Peacock motifs reminiscent of South Indian temple-silk traditions are woven here in Bengal’s nakshi jamdani technique.
