Warm mustard, deep navy, and chandmari arches woven edge to edge.
This handwoven pure cotton khadi jamdani saree has a rich mustard-yellow body framed by a wide navy-blue open border. Chandmari motifs, semicircular fan-like arches with leaf-petal rays, are woven down both borders in navy. The pallu carries a dense diamond-and-key lattice in navy on mustard, framed above and below by rows of chandmari arches. Small navy leaf butis are scattered over the body. The colours are warm, grounded and classic, a traditional pairing with a regal finish.
Why you’ll love it
- Soft and body-hugging: The hand-spun khadi cotton is breathable and light, and it falls in natural folds that cling gracefully. It softens further with every wash.
- True jamdani technique: The motifs are woven into the fabric on the loom with extra-weft thread, not printed or embroidered, so each saree is slightly unique.
- Chandmari open border: A broad navy border with a repeating chandmari design, set against a light mustard inner edge for definition.
- Statement pallu: A geometric diamond-and-key jaal in navy on mustard, with chandmari arch bands and fine pin-stripes above and below.
- Blouse piece included: Comes with an unstitched blouse piece, so you can stitch it in the style you prefer.
- Hand-knotted net tassels: The pallu ends in a jali-style knotted fringe in mustard, with navy tassels at the corners.
Perfect for: Festive days, pujas, weddings, office wear, gifting, and anyone who loves bold, traditional colour pairings.
Styling tip: Stitch the included blouse piece in navy for a matching look, or in a contrast tone such as maroon, rust or cream. Gold, antique or oxidised silver jewellery all suit this saree.
