This handwoven pure cotton khadi jamdani saree has a bright marigold-yellow body framed by a wide teal-blue open border. Chandmari motifs, semicircular fan-like arches with leaf-petal rays, are woven down both borders in teal and across the pallu in vivid sky blue. The pallu carries a fine diamond-lattice jaal between two rows of chandmari arches, and small blue butis are scattered over the body. The colours are bold, fresh and lively, and the saree is still light on the body.
